Dear friends, 

Unfortunately, we need to reschedule our upcoming show, Android Dreams II, to a later date. We want our performers to be able to make their art safely, and for our audience to be able to enjoy the show safely, and to do so we will adhere to the new CDC guidelines for events and social distancing.

We do not yet have confirmation of a new, rescheduled date, but will keep you updated as soon as we know. Everyone has put a lot of love and energy into getting the show this far, so this is a postponement, NOT a cancellation-- the show will go on, at some point!

As you may already know, this is a difficult time for many of our performers. We are advancing pay to performers in need, but we are a small part of the broader picture of unexpected event cancellations and lost income for the arts community in Austin right now. If you would like to help out, please check out this page to support our performers. You can tip specific performers, or contribute to our performer fund to distribute your support. Also, we encourage you to follow performers on their social media, as many of them are offering links to their merchandise and other ways you can support them right now. 

This is an important time for us to support our communities, both by protecting the at-risk among us with our physical distance, and through our financial support where we are able. With love and compassion, we will make it through this together.

And on a more lighthearted note, please keep a look out for updates - we are planning some long-distance fun for you all!

Good afternoon y'all,

As you know, COVID-19 concerns and precautions are altering the landscape of events in Austin right now. As of right now, our plan is to continue our upcoming Android Dreams show as scheduled, in mid April. We are continuing to monitor the situation as it develops. We are keeping in contact with our dancers, technical staff, and venue as this situation develops, and we will make our decision about whether to run the show in April based on what will result in the safest environment for our audience and our artists. 

We still have a month before the event and the situation may change or evolve. In the meantime, we will promote the show as planned, because we all need to see some beautiful people in our feeds as we social-distance and chill. In the event it becomes necessary, we will postpone our Android Dreams show, rather than cancelling it. We have a very flexible refund policy in place for this event, so regardless of whether we reschedule, if you cannot attend for any reason, let us know and we will refund your ticket. 

Many artists and service workers are struggling from income loss during this time, so if you are lucky enough to have spare income and steady employment in this time, consider following them on their social media to find out how you can help. This is a great time to buy a piece of art you’ve been eyeing, or Venmo a performer a gratitude tip for all the awesome they’ve brought into the world.  

And remember, this is a time for (digital) togetherness, not vitriol, racism, or meanness. We’re all in this together, let’s keep each other safe and supported!
