Moonlight casts strange shadows on the forest floor, some comfortingly familiar, and others...less so. A jackalope darts across a starlit clearing. The swamp shifts around a mysterious shape. And...is that a pair of pants? 

Velvet Nox returns to our beloved Queer Cryptids on June 8th, now with even more cryptidness!

Glimpsed but rarely seen complete, creatures of all configurations come out of the shadows for one night to share their full glory on this stage. Obscure creatures of dream and legend and nightmare emerge in the spotlight and tell us their stories through burlesque, pole dance, and some truly unsettling gyrations.

Allies and fellow cryptids are welcome.

Ages 18+ only. Our host Sterling Stage Austin is bringing us themed drink specials to help set the mood. Parking is free and ample.

This show is performed “in-the-round”, where the audience surrounds the stage on all 4 sides. There are no bad seats here! Choose from the first rows, general seating, or our elevated Lounge seating for those who prefer table seating.

If having a table for your drinks and a little more elbow room is your jam- we suggest the Loungeside Table option! Please note when selecting tickets that the elevated Loungeside Tables are not directly in front of the stage- though they have a great view! They are about 15-20 feet back from the stage, on a ramp-accessible step above the rest of the audience. They have tall backed “bar height” chairs.
