Amelie Ahmose

Using her backgrounds in Egyptian belly dance, opera singing, and acting, as well as her twisted sense of humor, Amelie Ahmose brings unpredictable burlesque and variety acts to the stage, and is a renowned variety entertainer in Austin and beyond! The award winning siren of surprise, and internationally published model who has 3 kidneys, can be found breaking brains as a producer and member of Frisky Business Burlesque, and as a showgirl clown with Fou Fou Ha Austin. As a skilled variety performer, with a couple decades of experience under her belt, this shimmying songstress comes equipped with a robust arsenal of musicality, glamour, and talent, guaranteed to tease and please any audience, and she's thrilled to be returning to the Velvet Nox stage!

BLCKSVVN

Born and raised in Poland, she made it to the US in 2018. She is a former gymnast, Exotic pole dance and art competitor and instructor, aerialist and dancer, winner of Exotic Generation Worlds in Russia (2019) and USA (2019), and semi-finalist of Poland's Got Talent.

BLCKSVVN debuted as a music artist, releasing first studio album in February of this year. She is currently offering individual pole and dance classes at her home studio MVVNFIT (moonfit).

Cimmeria Steel

Cimmeria Steel, the “the Sword Wielding Sorceress,” is an award winning pole artist, belly dancer, and burlesque dancer who is known for her character driven acts and her innovative sword balancing skills. Her performances include a variety of dance styles, singing, acro chair, and fire, among other things. She has won titles such as ”Pole Comedy Champion” at Pole Theatre USA, the “Bump and Grindcore” award at the 2023 Texas Metalesk Festival, and was a pro division finalist at the Pole Sport Organization’s 2024 National Championships. Dame Dynamite

Dame Dynamite is an international burlesque and performance artist known for maximalist storytelling and mesmerizing movement. She has created work for art festivals (such as Electric Forest) and dance festivals (such as the Austin Dance Festival) and generally making stage production since 2015. Dynamite was created to extract raw materials and allow for more innovations to come to life. Dame Dynamite seeks to remove barriers that hinder the visibility of the wonderful and the weird.Her mission is to cultivate a safe, and inclusive space for self-expression in all forms. She humbly curates events that move and inspire her with the intention of sharing the power of stage performance to inspire, to move, and to transform.

Echo

Echo is a new persona for a familiar presence in Austin’s aerial community. An owner of the studio Laché Movement Co and the production and events company Fly Unfeathered, she practiced martial arts prior to falling in love with pole and aerials and bailing on the path of hitting people. She loves all things movement and sharing it with everyone she can. Her love of pole and aerials, and this amazing community, has taken over her life in the best way.

Ginger Snaps

Ginger Snaps, The Tastiest Tease in Texas, is an award-winning international burlesque performer, aerialist, and producer from Austin, TX. Voted Austin’s “Best Burlesque Performer” every year since 2016 by the Austin Chronicle Reader’s Poll, she is renowned for her unique burlesque and aerial performance creations as well as her embracing of all things weird! Ginger has been seen on stages and screens across the globe including on America's Got Talent, Das Supertalent in Germany, performing at the illustrious Burlesque Hall of Fame Weekender in Las Vegas multiple times, headlining the Brasilia Burlesque Festival, and numerous viral social media videos and articles. She is the Performance Manager for Sky Candy aerial arts, the founder of Legislate THIS - a series of burlesque fundraiser shows for Planned Parenthood, as well as the founder of the Aerials for Plus-Sized Bodies program and accompanying series of professional development workshops that she teaches to studios and instructors around the globe. In addition Ginger has worked with Dell Medical School as a part of their anti-weight bias curriculum in the Health Equity Program teaching fresh docs how to not be dicks. When not instigating for glitter and social justice Ginger can be found on various social media platforms at @gingersnapsburlesque!

Gothess Jasmine

They are creator of IMOLE FANTASY FAIRE, Bitchcraft open stage show, and host of Soft Serve, a celebration of hip hop and R&B. They have been an official artist at SXSW ‘22 and ‘23, Bushwig, ACL and have been nominated as one of Austin’s Best Drag Performers. This being is known for demanding crowds to honor them for their powerful stage presence and intimate performances.

Jacki Moon

Jacki Moon is a pole and flexibility instructor at Blackbox Creative. She also earned an MA in Rhetoric and Composition by writing a master’s thesis on the rhetoric of bodies and their intersection with pole dance. Just as the moon card invites you to unravel hidden truths from your subconscious mind, Jacki invites you to explore your inner desires with her tonight. It’s from that elusive space that she came to believe the moon is a lesbian, full of yearning blues.

This blonde, bisexual bombshell is a published writer and editor by day and a salacious strip-teaser, mischievous moon dancer, and bold creator by night. She’s a troupe member of ErotiQueer BurlesQue, a dance and pole instructor at Vespertine and Minx and Muse, and has performed at Boner Bizarre, Horrorscopes, International Pole Con, among many other venues and events. Lilith Allure

Lilith Allure hails from another realm. She is a blend of playful charm, raw intensity, and untamed sexuality. When she isn't casting spells over her audiences, she can be found dancing naked around bonfires and on poles, conjuring artistic creations, training her pet dragons, or teaching classes in Austin and Houston. In the words of Nikita Gill, "she wears strength and darkness equally well, the girl has always been half goddess and half Hell.”

MK Ultra is a time-traveling tiny dancer, an unholy bisexual terror, a pseudo-contortionist, human blockhead, part-time beefcake and chronic drag clown, with bones of rubber and buns of steel. They are the drag child of Gothess Jasmine and Impulse Purchase, and a cast member of Shock Therapy at Elysium.

Ooh LALA

Birthed in the sweltering heat of Austin in July, Ooh La La slithered her way out of the womb two weeks late, and has been moving at her own pace ever since. Classical dance and art training provided the foundation for the high-brow art and low-brow twerking which would follow. Ooh La La is very honored to be slinking around on stage for Velvet Nox a 2nd time, having made her debut on their stage in 2019 for Sirens of the Deep. She is a artist, dancer, costumer, performance godmother, and multi-dimensional renaissance goddess from Austin, TX. She has appeared on stage for Monday Night Jammie Jam, Boner Bizarre, The Galactic Salon, The Emerald Stiletto, a guest for Erotiqueer Burlesque, Art Island, and in addition can be found teaching her slinky ways for Vespertine. Lover of old Hollywood glamour and John Waters her mood is, “Always Classy and a Little Trashy”, and she hopes you enjoy your evening with Velvet Nox!!

Villanelle

Villanelle is a joyful apostate and pole witch who teaches all levels of pole tricks, heels choreography, and freestyle at Black Box Creative. You can also find them teaching aerial pole at Lache Movement company. In addition to group classes, they are available for private lessons, pole parties, private events, and creating customized choreography for individual or group performances.

Vivienne vermuth

Vivienne (they/them) is an original, award winning Dallas burlesque/drag icon, having performed/produced over 4000 shows across the United States since 2008. Awards include Best Dallas Burlesque Entertainer 2023, Best Burlesque Production of Fort Worth 2023, Most Original at the 2018 Oklahoma City Burlesque Festival, the Pineapple Sparkle Award (for warmth and congeniality) at the 2017 Texas Queerlesque Festival and the Tammy True Future Legend of Burlesque Award at the 2015 Dallas Burlesque Festival. They’re a co-producer of Nightshade Burlesque, creator of the decade long- running Nearly Naked Nutcracker and have produced events for Beyond Vanilla, Meow Wolf and more. They are also an award winning hair and makeup artist for stage and screen, a member of IATSE (eye aught see) 484, with their own studio in Ft Worth.
